Lease Expiry Reminders

This feature enables you to receive reminders when a lease is ending and there is not yet new lease for the unit.

Set the Config

From the Admin > General Settings > Rent tab, enter a Default Lease End Reminder Days in Advance amount and click OK.

Lease Details

When a Lease Actual End Date is in the future, a Lease End Reminder will generate according to the Days set on the lease.

A To Do generates when the lease is saved. The reminder will only generate if a reminder is due.

Note: If a lease is deleted, so that now there is no subsequent lease for a unit that has a lease that is ending, the reminder to do with be added if the end date is in the future.

A reminder is due in the following circumstances:

  • For all leases that have an expiry date in the future and the unit does not have a new lease, for example, the Lease Expiry is 1/1/2020 and the Expiry Reminder days is 365, a reminder will pop up on 1/1/2019 if there is not yet a new lease.

  • For all leases that have a lease end date in the future and the unit does not have a new lease, for example, the Actual Lease End Date is 7/7/2019 and the End Date Reminder days is 7, a reminder will pop up on 30/06/2019 if there is not yet a new lease.
